New Project - Hobsons Bay Sport Infrastructure Action Plan

insideEDGE is partnering with Hobsons Bay City Council to deliver a Sports Infrastructure Action Plan that will guide sport and recreation investment across the municipality over the next five years. Building on the 2018 Sports Facility Needs Analysis developed by insideEDGE, the plan will help inform Council’s asset renewal and capital upgrade programs.

The project will review all existing facilities to assess their condition, functionality and capacity to meet future community needs. Participation trends and growth projections will be analysed to identify priority areas for investment. A clear set of assessment criteria will be developed to evaluate individual projects and rank them as short, medium, or long-term priorities.

The resulting Action Plan will provide Council with a practical, evidence-based roadmap for future infrastructure development, supported by indicative cost estimates to inform decision-making and funding opportunities.
